Quality Management System Specialist

Job Title: Quality Management System Specialist
Type of Engagement: 3-month contract (Not open to 3rd party C2C consultants. Visa sponsorship is not available)
Work Location: Hybrid position in Raleigh, NC (3 days office)

Job Overview:

This position is responsible for both conducting and managing Document Control responsibilities in addition to independently performing vendor qualification activities within the QMS.  Organization and communication skills are essential to this role.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
 

• Activities include but are not limited to procedural document management, vendor qualification, audit/inspection support, and special project management to assure QMS alignment and compliance.

 

• This position works with minimal supervision, requires a very high degree of interaction with other company employees and resolves more complex issues requiring evaluation of identifiable factors. Standard operating procedures provide guidance in performing the activities required.

Required Skills & Experience:
 

• Bachelors Degree Minimum

• Requires 12-15 years of Quality Assurance experience, including experience managing and implementing a Quality Management System.
• The position of QMS Specialist is responsible for providing expertise and guidance for R&D Quality activities that support the company’s Quality Management Systems (QMS).

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $30.00 - $35.00 per hour. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
