Quality Assurance Manager | Ready-to-Eat Food Manufacturing | Southern Indiana

I'm partnering with a well-established food manufacturer that is looking to add a Quality Assurance Manager to their leadership team.
If you have a strong background in food safety, quality systems, regulatory compliance, and leading QA teams in a Ready-to-Eat (RTE) environment, I'd love to connect.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the plant's Quality Assurance and Food Safety programs.
- Ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, SQF, HACCP, GMP, SSOP, and SOP requirements.
- Oversee internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
- Manage CCPs, validation activities, pre-shipment reviews, and corrective actions.
- Partner with Operations, Sanitation, and Plant Leadership to drive continuous improvement.
- Coach and develop the QA team while maintaining a strong food safety culture.
What We're Looking For
- Quality leadership experience in food manufacturing
- Ready-to-Eat (RTE) experience is required
- Strong knowledge of USDA/FDA regulations
- Experience with SQF, HACCP, GMP, SSOP, and food safety systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
