Quality Mechanical Inspector I

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform examinations, inspections, or tests as required by project management and/or client/owner.
• Issues the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, writes and sends to QC Supervisor non-conformances reports
• Coordinates examination, inspection, and test plans with project management and client representatives.
• Completes and maintains inspection, test, examination, and Quality Control Records.
• Read and interpret engineered drawings and manufacturer manuals.
• Check conformity with the Quality Control Plan, obtain the relevant documentation, verifies procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls and inspections, manage documents certifying tests, controls and inspections

The inspector conducts inspections of craft work or work done by others to ensure that it complies with the owner's specifications, governing codes, or manufacturer's requirements. Validate all inspection activities by documenting the correct forms, Inspection and Test Records (ITRs,) or other media approved by the project's ITP or SOP.
