Quality Systems Manager

Location: Farmington, CT

This position is responsible for planning, coordinating and directing quality programs designed to ensure quality control and quality assurance of the production of products consistent with established standards.

• Formulate and maintain quality objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals.
• Manage, hire, lead, motivate and train the Quality Department in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws. Exhibit confidence in self and staff. Resolve interdepartmental issues, accept feedback and give recognition.
• Interpret quality philosophy to key personnel in organization.
• Provide computerized status reports describing progress and concerns related to inspection activities, nonconforming items, and or other items related to the quality of the process, material or product.
• Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation.
