Quality Technician

Quality TechnicianWatson Custom Tanks | Springfield, MO Starting Pay: $26-$30/hr Based on ExperienceMonday-Thursday 7:00am-5:30Watson Custom Tanks is seeking a Quality Technician to support quality inspections, audits, testing, and continuous improvement efforts throughout the manufacturing process. This role helps ensure products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.Responsibilities

Inspect products, materials, and welds for quality and compliancePerform process audits, product testing, and product layoutsInvestigate quality issues and support problem-solving effortsCollect and analyze defect dataMaintain gauges and inspection equipmentSupport containment and corrective action activities

Qualifications

1+ year of manufacturing, quality, or related experienceAbility to read blueprints and technical specificationsExperience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometersStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of ASME standards and Syteline is a plusHigh School Diploma or GED preferred

Physical Requirements

Lift up to 50 lbs.Stand and walk for extended periodsWork in confined spaces and at heights when neededWear required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toe boots
