Job Description

Job Title: R&D Specialist I

Location: Fremont, CA

Pay Rate: $29.00 per hour, W 2

Duration: 7+ Month Contract

2 years of college chemistry or equivalent classwork/experience in related scientific maufacturing fields is highly desirable.

Summary:

  • Work Mode: Onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe R&D lab environment by taking on active safety roles in the R&D lab
  • Follow the guidelines and best practices related to lab notebooks, data storage, and backup
  • Conduct and document inventories of chemicals and consumables in the lab
  • Safe handling of hazardous chemicals and canisters
  • Organize the lab storage
  • Conduct well-documented reactions, purifications, chemical fillings following established instructions
