About the Team:
The Client Colorado Springs R&D team is working on High-Performance Oscilloscopes and pushing the boundaries of technology capabilities. Our team is needing support with prototype turn-on, keeping instruments functioning as expected, calibration and failure analyses. You will be working with scripts and automated processes to provide feedback to the R&D team. You will own analyzing the data to determine the failures and if possible, finding root cause on these failure modes. Deep technical failures will be owned by the R&D team. Responsibilities:
As a Technician on the team, you will collaborate with R&D Engineers and NPI Technicians. You will:
- Work in an Electrical Static Discharge (ESD) controlled environment
- Calibrate and run automated tests on prototypes
- Troubleshoot prototypes
- Run scripts that determine failure modes and communicate this back to the R&D team
- Execute automated performance characterization tests on prototypes at temperature and humidity and collect characterization data
BasicQualifications:- 3 to 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or NPI environmentor equivalent
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- General knowledge of electronics and electronics manufacturing
- Experience in electronic mechanical assembly including torque drivers
- Proficient with the Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment
