We are working exclusively with a top -tier motorsports organization to identify a skilled shop -based mechanic<\/b> to join their technical team. This position plays a vital role in the post -race disassembly, inspection, maintenance, and quality control<\/b> of high -performance race vehicles and their components.
<\/p>

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a competitive race program, where precision, speed, and innovation drive every aspect of the operation.

Key Responsibilities:<\/b>
<\/h3>
  • Dismantle race vehicles following events to prepare for inspection and service.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Conduct thorough inspections and evaluations of vehicle components for wear, fatigue, or damage.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Perform routine and corrective maintenance to ensure components meet team standards and safety regulations.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Utilize Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)<\/b> and Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI/Zyglo)<\/b> techniques to identify cracks and defects.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Clean, service, and reassemble components to ensure race -readiness.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and documentation in the workshop.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Support other technical functions and special projects as assigned by the department lead.
    <\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    Preferred Background & Skills:<\/b>
    <\/h3>
    • High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications or advanced training a plus.
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Minimum of 2 years’ hands -on experience in a NASCAR Truck, Xfinity, or Cup series environment preferred.
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Proficient in non -destructive testing<\/b> methods such as MPI and FPI.
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Strong familiarity with the mechanical systems of race vehicles, including suspension, drivetrain, and braking systems.
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Confident using a wide range of hand and power tools (wrenches, jacks, drills, saws, etc.).
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Comfortable working under pressure in a high -tempo, results -driven environment.
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple ongoing tasks.
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Excellent attention to detail and problem -solving mindset.
