Rack Cable Operator – Manufacturing Warehouse

Pay Rate: $22-$23.50/hr
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Rack Cable Operators to join our manufacturing warehouse team. This position involves operating equipment and performing production tasks related to cable assembly, rack wiring, and material preparation. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, following technical instructions, and maintaining high standards for safety and quality.
Responsibilities

• 
  Operate equipment used in cable preparation, routing, and assembly.
  
• 
  Install, route, and organize cables within racks according to work instructions.
  
• 
  Measure, cut, strip, and label cables as required.
  
• 
  Follow diagrams, work orders, and assembly specifications.
  
• 
  Inspect cables and completed assemblies for defects or quality issues.
  
• 
  Identify and report damaged materials, equipment issues, or production errors.
  
• 
  Maintain an organized and clean work area.
  
• 
  Follow all workplace safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
  
• 
  Track production progress and maintain accurate records as needed.
  
• 
  Assist with material handling, packaging, and other warehouse duties as assigned.
  

Qualifications

• 
  Previous manufacturing, cable assembly, wiring, or warehouse experience preferred.
  
• 
  Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  
• 
  Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  
• 
  Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring equipment.
  
• 
  Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  
• 
  Basic computer skills and the ability to read work orders are a plus.
  
• 
  Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  
• 
  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  

Preferred Skills

• 
  Experience with rack wiring, cable routing, or electrical assemblies.
  
• 
  Familiarity with manufacturing tools and production equipment.
  
• 
  Ability to read wiring diagrams or technical drawings.
  
• 
  Knowledge of quality control procedures.
  

Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing warehouse and may involve standing for extended periods, repetitive hand movements, and handling materials or equipment. Employees must follow all required safety procedures and quality standards.
