Job Description

Role Summary: As a Rack Level Integration Engineer, you will lead the validation and integration of advanced Photonic Fabric and hardware components within AI compute racks. This role focuses on ensuring the seamless cohesion of servers, accelerators, switches, and cooling solutions to meet high-performance standards for next-generation networking.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of technical solutions for complex, multi-domain AI infrastructure projects.
  • Integrate rack-level optical interconnects and all hardware/software elements to ensure optimal connectivity and performance.
  • Manage the setup, testing, and qualification of complete rack solutions to meet stringent reliability and efficiency benchmarks.
  • Configure and integrate smart Power Distribution Units (PDUs) for effective power management.
  • Oversee rack-level management functions, including real-time monitoring, automated control, and hardware telemetry.
  • Perform hands-on lab procedures, including "rack and stack " assembly of intricate, high-touch configurations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all rack-level integration processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, program managers, vendors, and customers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience specifically in rack-level integration.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of AI compute rack configurations and the functionality of integrated components.
  • CAD Proficiency: Strong skills in Mechanical and Thermal CAD tools.
  • Testing Expertise: Proven ability to test and qualify high-performance rack solutions against industry reliability standards.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 3 5 years of experience; alternatively, a Master's or PhD with 2 3 years of experience or Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Specialized experience in rack-level optical interconnects.
  • Previous experience working within a high-tech or semiconductor environment.
