We are looking for: Radiation Oncology Veterinary Assistant

Our Radiation Oncology assistants need to have critical thinking skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask within a strong team environment. This team focuses on developing strong client and patient relationships due to many cases requiring daily treatments. You must be able to drive the MedVet experience of excellent patient care and compassion.

What you’ll do:

Assist with radiation treatments and CT

Client communication over the phone and face to face

Manage appointments and scheduling

Accurate and thorough documentation for medical records

Ability to work in a team

Ability to multi-task

Excellent venipuncture skills

Who you are:

Prior veterinary experience , previous oncology or specialty experience desired

Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)

Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
