Job Overview
We are seeking a full-time Radiation Therapist to join a radiology oncology team in Eureka, California. This role is responsible for administering therapeutic radiation treatments and supporting the setup, planning, and verification of accurate treatment delivery using modern radiotherapy techniques.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer therapeutic radiation treatments in accordance with department standards and physician-directed treatment plans.
- Perform patient setup, treatment planning support, and verification procedures to ensure accurate radiation delivery.
- Operate modern radiotherapy equipment and follow established safety and quality protocols.
- Work under the direction of the Department Manager and supervision of the Lead Radiation Therapist.
- Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, physicists, and other members of the care team.
- Maintain accurate treatment documentation and support a safe, respectful patient care environment.
Qualifications
Required:
- Completion of formal therapeutic radiologic technology training from an approved school.
- ARRT certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required upon hire.
- California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification required upon hire.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based oncology care setting.
Preferred:
- Specialized training in dosimetric techniques and physics of treatment planning.
