As a non-profit community hospital, Fitzgibbon Hospital is vital to the health and well-being of the communities it serves in the Marshall, MO and surrounding area. We are looking for a self-driven compassionate Radiation Therapist to join our Oncology department. We offer a competitive salary and benefit package.

Shift:

  • Full-time - 80 hours every two weeks
  • Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm
 
Candidate needs to have the following:
  • ARRT (RTT)
  • BLS Certifications
  • One year of recent Radiation Therapist experience preferred
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills
  • Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
Responsibilities
  • As a Radiation Therapist, you'll administer radiation treatments to patients, ensuring precise delivery of treatment plans for optimal care
  • Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients according to prescribed treatment plans
  • Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring accurate and safe delivery of radiation doses
  • Monitor patients during treatments, assessing their physical condition and reporting any adverse reactions
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols
  • Work with multidisciplinary staff within the department to care for patients
