Required Skills:
- Valid LA State License
- ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in radiation therapy
- Strong understanding of radiologic procedures in both radiology and cardiology settings
- Excellent patient communication and compassionate care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to cover shifts and potential emergency roles
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with advanced radiotherapy technology and procedures
- Previous work in a hospital or trauma setting
- Additional certifications relevant to radiology or cardiology
- Multilingual abilities
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Radiation Therapy, Radiologic Technology, or related field
- Prior experience working in a similar healthcare environment with exposure to both radiology and cardiology treatments
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to participate in emergency response teams and be available for flexible shifts
- Accepting the possibility of assignment to emergency teams requiring presence at the facility during critical events
- Ability to work a 4/10-hour shift schedule (07:00 AM 05:30 PM), with potential hours flex based on patient volume
