- Shift: Day Shift – 5x8 Hours (08:00 – 16:30)
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Floating: Possible within facility
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to deliver precise and safe radiation therapy treatments to adult and geriatric oncology patients. This role involves treatment setup, imaging verification, and operation of advanced radiation therapy equipment in a high-volume oncology setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer external beam radiation therapy treatments
- Accurately position patients and verify treatment alignment
- Operate linear accelerator and radiation equipment
- Perform simulation and treatment site preparation
- Utilize imaging systems (CBCT, kV, MV) for verification
- Implement immobilization devices and shielding
- Monitor patients during treatment for safety and comfort
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC/MOSAIQ
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols
- Educate patients and families on treatment procedures
- Collaborate with oncology care team
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year Radiation Therapy experience
- Experience with adult oncology patient care
- Ability to perform outpatient and acute care treatments
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols
- EPIC EMR experience (Required)
- Ability to work in high-volume setting (~35 patients/day)
Certifications & Licensure
- ARRT (T) – Required
- BLS (AHA) – Required
- California State License – Required (in hand)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IMRT, SRS, SBRT
- Familiarity with Elekta systems
- Experience with simulation and treatment planning workflows
