Position Overview

 

Cancer Care Northwest is seeking a full‑time Radiation Therapist to join our caring, patient‑focused team. This Monday–Friday role includes occasional on‑call needs and offers a supportive environment with great work‑life balance.

You’ll deliver precise radiation therapy treatments, ensuring accurate positioning, beam alignment, and dose delivery. You’ll also uphold our Cancer Care Northwest/US Oncology compliance and ethical standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high‑quality treatments with accuracy and confidence, following established protocols.
  • Position patients precisely to ensure every dose matches the treatment plan.
  • Support daily clinic operations including patient care, treatment delivery, documentation, safety checks, and quality assurance.
  • Create a safe, comfortable experience for every patient throughout their treatment journey.
  • Operate and maintain equipment with skill and attention to detail.
  • Team up with oncology professionals—Radiation Oncologists, dosimetrists, physicists, and more—to deliver timely, accurate care.
  • Use treatment software and technology effectively and efficiently.
  • Communicate with positivity and build strong, supportive relationships with patients and colleagues.
  • Float across locations with flexibility, including hospital settings when needed.
  • Champion patient safety and bring genuine dedication to every interaction.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience actively practicing as an RTT. ARRT certification required. Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to be present at the employee site during regularly scheduled business hours and regularly required to sit or stand and talk or hear. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carry items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

 

Work Environment: The work environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic environment. Work will involve in-person interaction with co-workers and management and/or clients. Work may require minimal travel by automobile to office sites.

 

Salary Range DOE - $44.22 - $66.33
