ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week contract in a radiology diagnostics unit. Bring your operating room and radiographic skills, along with strong Level 1 trauma experience, to this assignment starting November 23, 2026.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Perform radiographic work in the radiology diagnostics unit.
Apply operating room skills to radiographic work.
Use a picture archiving and communication system (PACS) to manage diagnostic images.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Have 3+ years of experience, including experience within the last 5 years.
Have at least 1 year of travel experience.
Demonstrate proficient operating room and radiographic skills.
Bring strong Level 1 trauma experience at a large academic medical center.
Hold current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Have completed an accredited radiologic technology program.
Have experience using PACS to manage diagnostic images.
NICE TO HAVE
Hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Live 50 miles from Birmingham, as preferred for this assignment.
SCHEDULE & BENEFITS
13-week contract starting November 23, 2026. Work five 8-hour mid shifts, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with every fourth weekend scheduled.
