Required Skills:
- A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- Valid NYS license and registration in radiologic technology
- Minimum one year of CT and MRI experience as a radiologic technologist
- Ability to operate imaging equipment efficiently and accurately
- Strong understanding of radiation safety and protection procedures
- Excellent patient communication skills
- Proficiency in inputting data into Radiology Information Systems
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report issues promptly
- Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
Nice to Have Skills:
- Additional certifications in advanced imaging modalities
- Experience working in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Knowledge of departmental policies and procedures
- Familiarity with the latest imaging technology and software
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Completion of an A.A.S. degree in Radiologic Technology
- At least one year of CT/MRI experience in a healthcare setting
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work evening and night shifts (12-hour shifts)
- Ability to comply with all safety and procedural protocols
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development
- Travel reimbursements and licensure/certification costs covered as applicable
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $71.05, with a 12-hour evening/night shift.
