Radiologic Technologist I -Sdi (Per Diem, Variable)

At NorthBay Health, the Rad Tech I works under the supervision of the Tech Manager.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES

• Performs radiographic examinations in accordance to established protocols. Subject to periodic evaluation by Manager for quality control.
• Assists and instructs patients prior and during examinations.
• Responsible for evaluating each study to ensure it meets required quality standards.
• Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations.
• Responsible for inspecting and cleaning equipment prior to use.
• Reports to outpatient supervisor equipment failures and/or malfunctions.
• Reports all patient complaints, discrepancies and drug reactions according to QA policies.
• Responsible for producing images, burning CD and occasional film printing, organizing paperwork and completing requisition data.
• Works in other areas of department such as: front office, etc.
• Assists other modalities as time allows.
• Other duties as assigned.

Hours of Work: Depends on shift assignment and department needs

Hourly Salary Range: $56.56 - Max $68.73 (Hourly rate will be based on years of experience)

Additional Compensation Note: posted rate includes a per diem differential.

Evening Differential: $4.65/hour

Night Differential: $6.25/hour

REQUIRED:

• Graduate of an AMA approved radiology course.

• California Certified Radiologic Rechnologist (CRT) required, ARRT required.

• Current AHA or equivalent healthcare provider BLS Certification required.

• Less than one year of experience in general radiology. New Rad Tech grads welcome to apply.

• Basic clerical and computer experience.

PREFERRED:

• High school preferred.
