Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist II is a competent imaging professional who performs a broad range of routine and moderately complex diagnostic radiographic procedures at a technical level enough to provide adequate diagnosis with limited supervision. This position performs a variety of diagnostic radiography imaging procedures to provide data for diagnosis and monitoring diseases and injuries in accordance with all applicable standards, regulations, and licensing requirements. Assists physicians and radiologists in performing Radiological Procedures on patient populations ranging from neonatal to geriatric. Following and maintains quality control procedures for Imaging Services. May serve as a preceptor and cover multiple locations/departments including the Spine Center.
In addition to providing direct patient care, the Radiologic Technologist II prioritizes daily workflow, participates in quality improvement initiatives, and contributes to departmental performance, patient satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Experience:
Preferred 3 Three or more years of acute-care hospital imaging experience.
Preferred 1 yr Experience working in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center.
Preferred 1 yr Cross-training in additional imaging modalities (CT, MRI, Mammography, or Interventional Radiology).
Preferred 1 yr Experience serving as a clinical instructor or departmental preceptor.
Minimum 2 years Diagnostic Radiology experience in an acute-care hospital or comparable healthcare environment.
Minimum 1 year Demonstrated competency in portable radiography, trauma imaging, and fluoroscopic support procedures.
Minimum 3 years Radiologic technologist experience in a clinical setting
