Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a dynamic Radiology Tech to join our team. Your primary function is performing x-rays on patients. You will also triage patients and provide other patient care services. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner. 

In this role you will: 

  • Perform accurate X-Rays as ordered by the Provider while practicing radiation safety precautions to include ALARA. 
  • Prepare and transmit images to the Radiologist for over-read. 
  • Room patients to include taking and recording vital signs and patient history. 
  • Assist patients and providers as needed with walking, transfer, specimen collection, exam prep, etc. 
  • Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies. 
  • Transports patients as needed. 

What qualifications you will need: 

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within30 daysof employment start date 
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. 
  • Must be accredited by ARRT  
  • Must be licensed by the state of Florida 
  • Two years of clinical experience in related field preferred
