Required Skills:
- A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
- Valid NYS license/registration.
- Minimum of one year experience in CT/MRI as a radiologic technologist.
- Proficiency in operating MRI and other imaging equipment.
- Strong understanding of radiographic procedures and patient positioning.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protection protocols.
- Ability to accurately set exposure factors and obtain high-quality images.
- Excellent communication skills to explain procedures to patients.
- Familiarity with Radiology Information System (RIS) for documentation and billing.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Certifications in MRI (such as ARRT MRI certification).
- Experience with advanced imaging modalities.
- Bilingual abilities to assist diverse patient populations.
- Knowledge of departmental policies and safety standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- An accredited A.A.S. degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
- At least one year of hands-on experience in CT and MRI procedures.
- Relevant state licensure and certification.
Other Requirements:
- Successful passing of pre-employment health clearance.
- Ability to work evening shifts (4:00 PM 12:00 AM).
- Comply with all departmental and hospital safety standards.
- Willingness to adhere to department policies, including radiation safety protocols.
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $69.02, with a shift schedule of 8 hours during evening hours.
