Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer
Location: Bronx, NY 10461
Job Type: Contract (14 Weeks, Possible Temp-to-Perm)
Shift: Day | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 37.5 Hours per Week
Pay Rate: $59 – $61 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer for an exciting job in Bronx, NY.
Perform general radiographic procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
Assist with Interventional Radiology procedures.
Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Maintain strict radiation safety standards and infection control practices.
Operate radiographic equipment and ensure optimal image quality.
Accurately document procedures in electronic medical records.
Comply with HIPAA, departmental, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care.
Participate in quality assurance and safety initiatives.
Required:
Minimum one (1) year of General Radiographer experience.
Interventional Radiology experience required.
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist training program (Military training accepted).
Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred:
Knowledge and experience in CT (Computed Tomography).
