- Local Pay: Up to $2,325/week (based on experience)
- Travel Pay: Up to $2,855/week (based on experience)

Position Summary
A premier healthcare facility in New York is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist / Radiographer to join its diagnostic imaging department. This position is responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures while delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining compliance with radiation safety standards.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical imaging skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations as ordered by physicians
- Prepare, position, and assist patients during imaging procedures
- Operate radiologic imaging equipment safely and accurately
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with departmental protocols
- Follow radiation safety and protection guidelines to minimize exposure risks
- Explain imaging procedures clearly while ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance concerns promptly
- Adhere to infection control, HIPAA, and departmental safety policies
- Support efficient patient flow and daily radiology operations
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (military training accepted when applicable)
- Current ARRT Certification and Registration
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License
- Minimum of one (1) year of recent General Radiographer experience
- Strong knowledge of:
- Diagnostic radiography procedures
- Radiation safety protocols
- Patient positioning techniques
- Imaging equipment operation
Preferred Qualifications
- Current BLS Certification preferred
- Prior hospital or acute care radiology experience preferred
- Excellent communication and patient care skills preferred
