Position Title: Radiologic Technologist Location: Atlanta, GA Employment Type: Travel / Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Schedule: Friday – Sunday | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Job Summary: Provide diagnostic radiology services in a high-volume hospital imaging department, supporting OR, fluoroscopy, emergency department, and portable X-ray procedures while ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.
Requirements:
Active ARRT certification required
AHA BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years recent Diagnostic Radiology experience required
Cerner EMR experience required
Strong OR, fluoroscopy, portable, ED, and general X-ray experience required
Ability to work in a busy, high-acuity radiology department
No local candidates within 50 miles
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic imaging including X-ray, fluoroscopy, OR, ED, and portable studies
Assist in surgical and operating room imaging procedures
Ensure proper patient positioning and imaging quality
Operate and maintain radiology equipment safely
Follow radiation safety protocols and hospital imaging standards
Document procedures accurately in EMR systems
Collaborate with physicians and surgical teams
Respond to urgent and emergency imaging needs
Maintain workflow efficiency in a high-volume department
