Radiologic Technologist - Up to $11,250 Sign-On Bonus

Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team at our University of Minnesota Medical Center - West Bank location in Minneapolis, MN! This is a .75 FTE (60 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work the following schedule:

Week 1: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday, 7PM - 7:30AM
Week 2: Thursday/Friday, 7PM - 7:30AM

This position is eligible for a sign on bonus that is prorated based on experience.

The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient care
• Performs examinations
• Identifies relevant data from images accurately.
• Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional
• Verify patient identification and documentation
• Communicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of exam
• Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol.
• Ensures patient data integrity
• Accurately completes computer functions; edits, scheduling, billing, status changes and image transfers in a timely manner
• Accurate image marking and digital image manipulation and archiving
• Participates as an active team member

Required Qualifications

• ARRT Radiology Tech
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a technologist

$36.47- $52.00 Hourly
