Radiological Technologist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment to conduct radiographic examinations.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to interpret imaging results.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and quality control checks.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
• State licensure as required.
• Strong understanding of radiologic imaging techniques and protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Familiarity with advanced imaging techniques such as MRI or CT scans.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Working Conditions

This position involves working in a healthcare environment with exposure to radiation and requires adherence to strict safety and health protocols. The role may require standing for extended periods and the ability to lift and move patients as necessary.
