  • Contract Duration: 3 months
  • Pay Rate: $61.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: 3 x 12-Hour Days; 08:00 20:30 (with a 30-minute lunch), Thursday, Friday & Saturday

Job Summary

This is a CT Tech travel contract opportunity in the Radiology / Cardiology department at a 46-bed hospital with a 16-bed Emergency Department, performing approximately 70 CT exams per day. The unit is a 2-camera department utilizing Siemens Definition AS and Drive equipment. The position follows a Thursday, Friday & Saturday schedule and will accept first-time travelers as well as local candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT imaging procedures across a high-volume department averaging approximately 70 exams per day
  • Work within a 2-camera department (Siemens Definition AS and Drive)
  • Apply Image Display and Post Processing skills including 3D Rendering, Multiplanar Reconstruction (MPR), and Region of Interest Measurement (ROI)
  • Provide care across multiple work settings including Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Emergency Department, Pediatric Adult Care, Pediatric Outpatient, and Level I & Level II Trauma
  • Utilize EPIC for charting and PACS (Visage) for image management
  • Fulfill call requirement: 1 2 weeks of call (depending on call rotation) during the assignment
  • Adhere to unit scheduling per unit needs on a Thursday, Friday & Saturday schedule

Required Skills

  • Siemens experience required (Siemens Definition AS and Drive)
  • Work Settings Skills: Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Emergency Department, Pediatric Adult Care, Pediatric Outpatient, Level I & Level II Trauma
  • Image Display and Post Processing Skills: 3D Rendering, Multiplanar Reconstruction (MPR), and Region of Interest Measurement (ROI)
  • Proficiency with EPIC for charting
  • Proficiency with PACS (Visage)

Education Requirements

  • ARRT certification required
  • BLS certification required

Required Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience required

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Onsite position at a 46-bed hospital with a 16-bed Emergency Department
  • High-volume CT department: approximately 70 exams per day
  • Float Requirement: None
  • Weekend Requirement: None
  • Call Requirement: Yes 1 2 weeks of call (depending on call rotation) during assignment required
  • Scrubs: Not provided; Royal Blue required
  • Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Important Notes

  • RTO (Return to Origin) after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly result in a contract cancellation and DNR (Do Not Rehire).
  • The expected start date is based on the facility's schedule but is subject to change depending on class and trainer availability. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week, and must be fully available with no other commitments to accommodate any schedule changes. Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start.
  • The facility will confirm the final start date on the Tuesday prior to the start week.
  • Manager interview required manager will not offer without speaking to/interviewing the candidate first. Please provide interview availability for the next 72 hours when submitting.
