• Shift / Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 PM 6:00 AM (Night, 4 10 Hours)

Job Summary

This MRI Technologist role is based at Prisma Health Richland Hospital, which serves as the home scan site where the Siemens Virtual Cockpit equipment is physically located. In addition to scanning Richland patients, the tech will remotely scan for patients at smaller campuses Greer, Tuomey, and Parkridge using the virtual cockpit steering client. If scans are needed overnight at any of those three remote campuses, that will be the tech's main priority; if no remote scans are queued, the tech will assist with Richland patients. There is no floating all remote scanning is performed from the Richland location. This role carries no call obligation.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the steering client for the Siemens Virtual Cockpit to scan for remote sites (Greer, Tuomey, and Parkridge campuses) in addition to scanning at Richland.
• Prioritize overnight remote-campus scans at Greer, Tuomey, and Parkridge when scans are present at any of those sites.
• Scan Richland patients when there is nothing queued at any of the remote campuses.
• Perform inpatient and outpatient MRI on adults and pediatric patients of all ages, including Peds, neonates, stroke, and trauma patients.

Required Skills

• Proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment, including 1.5T and 3T magnets.
• Strong pediatric MRI scanning skills this role is almost exclusively pediatric scanning.
• Ability to scan neonates, stroke patients, and trauma patients in addition to standard inpatient/outpatient cases.

Preferred Skills

• Previous Children's Hospital experience preferred.

Education Requirements

• ARRT certification required (ARMRIT will not be considered).
• Flu vaccination required no exemptions.

Required Experience

• MRI Tech experience is required.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Home scan site is Richland; all remote campus scanning (Greer, Tuomey, Parkridge) is performed from Richland via virtual cockpit no floating to other campuses.
• Night shift role: Monday Thursday, 7:30 PM 6:00 AM (4 10-hour schedule).
• No on-call requirement.
• Orientation: 16 hours (non-billable).
