Description
Hard Stop: Must be able to start peripheral IVs independently
Schedule: Monday-Thursday
Minimum Experience: 3 years; 1st Timers are accepted
General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Inpatient and Outpatient Work Settings; Follow provided Piedmont Protocols and Policy to Perform CT Scans on IP, ER and OP Patients. Start IV s, consent patients. Maintain a positive and productive work environment with the current team of Technologist, Nurses, Doctors and Transporters.
Certifications Required: BLS, ARRT (R)(CT)
Ratio / Census: 4 Rooms with average caseload of 12-24 per day. Piedmont Henry is a Level 3 Trauma Hospital with 237 beds, 59 treatment areas in the ED and a substantial level of Stroke Alerts.
Patient Population: Neonates to Geriatrics
Call Requirements: Up to 4 on-call days (24hr period) may be assigned with a 2-week prior notice
Unit Systems: Work on Siemens and Philips CT Scanners, Epic Medical Records and Fuji PACs
Scrub Color: Gray
RTO: MAX 7 days
Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed
Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
Clinical Screen Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis
