Radiology-Cat Scan Technologist

City/State: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Shift: AM (07:00 - 19:30), every other Sunday plus on-call weekend hours every third or fourth weekend

Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description:

The CT Technologist performs CT imaging according to established protocol to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by the physician. They must demonstrate an understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology. One must maintain knowledge in radiation protection and safety. Preparation and administration of contrast media is performed in accordance with hospital policy. The use of critical thinking, professional and ethical judgment is to be demonstrated in the quality of care delivered.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Completion of an AMA approved radiology program
• Basic Life Support
• Reg Technologist (R) (CT) Required or Reg Technologist (R)
