A leading medical institution is seeking aRadiology Didactic Trainerto provide didactic instruction within an 18-month radiography education program.
Radiology Didactic TrainerResponsibilities:
Design and deliver didactic instruction covering radiographic science, positioning and procedures, radiation physics and protection, image production, and patient care.
Develop course materials and assessments aligned with JRCERT Standards, ARRT content specifications, and current professional practice.
Evaluate student learning using objective, equitable, and documented criteria while identifying and addressing academic challenges.
Analyze course outcomes and student performance data to identify opportunities for instructional and curriculum improvements.
Support students through academic guidance and contribute to program outcomes assessment and continuous-quality-improvement initiatives.
Radiology Didactic Trainer Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience/training.
Current, unrestricted ARRT certification and registration in Radiography (R(R)).
Current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) / state radiologic technology license.
Comprehensive knowledge of radiographic science, including positioning/procedures, radiation physics and protection, image production, and patient care.
Knowledge of JRCERT Standards and ARRT content specifications applicable to didactic instruction and student assessment.
Understanding of adult-learning principles, instructional design, competency-based education, and assessment methods is preferred.
Experience developing course materials and delivering educational content is preferred.
Experience evaluating student learning and using assessment data to improve instruction is preferred.
Ability to advise and support students and identify academic difficulties early.
Proficiency with standard office software, learning-management systems, and educational technology platforms.
Shift::
Monday to Friday, 08:00 am to 1:00 pm.
