Location                           : Clinton IL 61727
Duration                          : 13 weeks
Pay-rate                           : $48-$51/hour
Shift                                   : Day Shift with rotating weekends and on call
 
Job Description:
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray and CT scans while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and excellent patient care. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a healthcare environment. Candidates with CT experience are preferred; however, training may be provided to qualified candidates.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations and CT scans according to established protocols.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain examination processes.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while following radiation safety guidelines.
• Operate imaging equipment and maintain accurate patient records.
• Evaluate image quality to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Follow established procedures, infection control practices, and departmental policies.
• Participate in rotating weekend schedules and on-call duties as required.

 
Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Valid Illinois Radiologic Technologist license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Previous CT experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to operate diagnostic imaging equipment.
