Job Title: Radiology Tech
Location: Detroit, MI 48235
Shift: 11:00 AM 9:30 PM
Payrate: $64-$65/hour
Responsibilities:- Performs diagnostic radiology exams using appropriate imaging equipment
- Verifies patient identity and reviews medical records for exam appropriateness
- Interviews patients to obtain/update medical history and assess risk factors (e.g., medications, pregnancy)
- Explains procedures, including risks, benefits, side effects, and follow-up care
- Prepares equipment and captures images according to protocol
- Reviews images, notes exceptions, and communicates findings to the radiologist
- Responds to medical emergencies as needed
- Provides post-procedure care instructions as prescribed
- Participates in quality improvement (patient care, flow, repeat analysis, satisfaction)
- Educates residents, students, and new staff on imaging procedures
- Available for on-call/standby duties as required
Qualifications:- ARRT registered in Radiology (R)
- BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider)
- 2 years Radiologic Technologist experience
