Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) to join our team for a travel position. The ideal candidate should have experience in a variety of procedures, including but not limited to Y-90 chemo delivery, GI bleeds, vein sampling, phase 2 recovery, and cryoablations. First-time travelers are welcome to apply, although a minimum of one year of experience is preferred.
Shift Details
Schedule: 4x10 Hour Days (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM)
Call Requirements: 2 full weekends in a 6-week period and 9 weeknight shifts
Location: Seattle, WA
Floating: Required to cover shifts and call at the First Hill location
Requirements
Licenses & Certifications:
BLS Certification
ARRT Radiography Certification
Washington State License
Experience:
1 year of experience preferred in Interventional Radiology
Experience with a variety of medical procedures as listed in unit information
Technical Skills
Proficient in 3D imaging and accessing/managing ports
Experienced with various angiographic procedures, including Aortography and Carotid Stenting
Capable of performing biopsies, paracentesis, and other specialized interventional procedures
Familiarity with medication systems such as Pyxis and documentation systems like EPIC
Ability to maintain sterile technique and operate in a hybrid OR setting
