Get to Know Your Team: Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital (TSSH) specializes in surgical services, diagnostic imaging and pain management. TSSH offers state-of-the-art MRI, computed tomography and myelography technology. TSSH offers a variety of services, such as anesthesia, ear, nose & throat, general surgery, GYN, GYN/oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, plastic surgery, podiatry, radiology and spine care. Performs diagnostic tests, patient care and selects appropriate technical factors to insure proper diagnosis of patientsOperate imaging equipment during intra-operative procedures including C-arm, O-arm, Mini C-arm, and portable x-ray unitOperates diagnostic imaging equipment including X-ray and fluoroscopySelects appropriate exposure factors to produce high-quality images while maintaining ALARA standardsPrepares and positions patients for diagnostic examsCleans and maintains imaging equipmentProtects patients and personnel from radiation hazardsMaintains required records such as daily log booksNavigate the PACS system including review of images and uploading outside examsApply and maintain current knowledge of radiation protection and safety practicesEnsures imaging equipment is in proper working condition and reports issues to the radiology manager Job Requirements: Associates degree from an accredited Radiology ProgramARRT (R) Registry BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.Preferred Job Requirements: One year of X-Ray Tech experience
