A Radiology Technologist is needed in Aventura, FL at a 467-bed, fully accredited medical-surgical hospital designated a Level II Trauma Center by the Florida Department of Health. The facility holds Joint Commission certification as a Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center, an American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer-accredited Comprehensive Community Cancer Program, and an American College of Radiology-accredited Breast Imaging Center of Excellence.
The role. The Radiology Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures while serving as the primary point of contact for patients throughout the imaging process. This position carries direct responsibility for maintaining patient safety protocols during all procedures and ensuring imaging needs are met accurately and efficiently. The technologist is expected to apply sound clinical judgment in procedure execution and to communicate effectively with patients at every step of their imaging experience.
What we're looking for.
• High School Diploma or GED
• State Registered Radiologic Technician license (Florida)
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) — required; new graduates who have passed state boards will be considered
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Schedule. Full-time, 8-hour shifts covering a rotating mix of days and evenings (shift start times of 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, or 3:00 PM), with rotating weekend coverage.
