Weekly Gross Pay: $1,950 – $2,500/week – based on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiology Technologist to join a dynamic imaging department. The Radiology Technologist will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety, maintaining high imaging quality standards, and adhering to radiation protection protocols. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent patient care skills in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare patients and imaging equipment for radiographic examinations
Review physician orders, patient history, and clinical information prior to procedures
Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
Explain imaging procedures and address patient questions or concerns
Monitor patient comfort, safety, and emotional well-being during examinations
Evaluate image quality and ensure proper identification and documentation of studies
Maintain accurate radiology records and departmental documentation standards
Assist physicians during special imaging procedures and biopsies as needed
Ensure imaging equipment, rooms, and supplies remain clean and operational
Follow infection control, radiation safety, and emergency procedures at all times
Maintain patient confidentiality and professional communication with patients and healthcare teams
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Deliver exceptional customer service and patient-centered care
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program required
ARRT registered or registry eligible required
Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license required
Current BLS Certification required
Strong communication, technical, and patient care skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
