Role Overview

As a Radiology Technology Assistant, you will perform a wide variety of clerical, technical, and patient-related duties under general supervision. Your role is essential in supporting the Radiology team, ensuring smooth patient check-ins, exam preparations, and assistance during procedures. You will contribute to a broad range of healthcare services, enhancing the patient experience and operational efficiency.

What You Will Do

• Assist with patient check-in and preparation for radiology exams and procedures.
• Provide patient education and support throughout their visit.
• Help with exam reviews and ensure readiness for radiology services.
• Transport patients as needed within the department.
• Support the Radiology team in various imaging sections and modalities.
• Perform clerical and technical tasks according to established protocols.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification required upon hire or during orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical knowledge and terminology.
• One (1) year clinical experience.
