Job Description
Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

5x8 hour shifts, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. On-call required every 5th weekend and one night per week. Must be within 30 minutes during on-call periods.

Job Description

The Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist will provide specialized care for patients undergoing neuro interventional radiology procedures. This position requires strong technical skills, a commitment to patient safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interventional procedures by preparing equipment and supplying necessary instruments.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and provide pre and post-operative care.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards through the continuous monitoring of radiation exposure.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology with a neuro focus.
• Current certifications in BLS and ARRT (R).
• Radiation badge provided by agency is required.
• South Carolina RN license is preferred, or proof of application for licensure will be accepted.
