RDC Operations Lead
Role Summary:
The RDC Operations Lead will be responsible for the shipping and receiving functions within the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) with a focus on safety and customer service. The RDC Operations Lead will lead and influence the day-to-day warehouse operations, display a proven ability to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within the RDC team, including Hubbers, contractors and 3PL operators.

Role Specifics:
- Serve as the primary point of contact at the RDC for all operational inquiries, issues, and concerns
- Oversees and coordinaties the day-to-day operations of the RDC including:
- scheduling and assigning work to Hubber's, contractors and/or 3PL operators
- monitoring progress of daily workload, and
- ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and effectively.
- Refines existing processes and procedures to increase their effectiveness and efficiency while enhancing the RDCs' internal capacity
- Ensures that operational activities remain on-time and within budget
- Monitors KPIs and performance metrics to identify areas of improvement
- Collaborates with Ops teams, other RDC's, contractors, and 3PL operators to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Addresses customer complaints to resolution or escalates (TLC's and Customers) to the appropriate level in a professional and timely manner
- Identifies and resolves any operational bottlenecks
- Stays up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Experience:
- 5+ years of applicable work experiences with a heavy focus on operations and warehouse management
- Supervisor or management experience required
- Experience with KPI management
- BS/BA in Logistics, Business administration or related field preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrated people skills including influencing skills, active listening and the ability to communicate effectively to diverse groups
- Process improvement experience
- Strong planning and organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate a variety of different projects and individuals and to adapt to unforeseen and unexpected requests or changes in priorities required.
- Ability to collaborate with business leaders and peers across the organization to anticipate, identify, recommend, and implement creative operational and customer service solutions.
- Proven track record of process improvement and operational excellence
