Reading Teacher

H.B. Thompson Middle School and Syosset High School

Immediate Vacancy

The Syosset Central School District seeks a part-time Reading Teacher. The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• Must hold valid NYS Certification in Reading

• Prior successful teaching experience at the Middle School level

• Strong knowledge of Academic Intervention Support and MTSS processes preferred

• Passionate about working with and supporting students

• Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills

• Ability to collaborate with a highly respected faculty and staff

Salary per Syosset Teachers Association contract
