This position can become hybrid following an initial onboarding and training period.About the RoleYou'll play a key role supporting our attorneys across a wide range of real estate matters including specifically substantive legal work in connection with Municipal Utility Districts (MUDs). The ideal candidate is detail oriented, proactive, thrives in a collaborative environment while managing their tasks with timeliness, accuracy and professionalism. This specific role collaborates closely with attorneys, consultants, and others to deliver legal services of the highest caliber, while contributing to the overall efficiency of the firm's team.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with purchase and sale transactions, title and survey review, and condominium and homeowner's association mattersCommunicate professionally with clients by phone and email, coordinate document execution, and handle notarization and recordingPrepare and distribute meeting materials, including agendas, meeting packets, and minutesPost and circulate legal notices and agendas in compliance with statutory requirementsSupport attorneys on transactions by compiling materials and exhibits usedManage statutory filings, including with Texas Secretary of State, Texas Comptroller, Attorney General, and Texas Commission on Environmental QualityServe as records management officer, ensuring all district files meet retention and compliance standardsConduct legal research and draft supporting documents under attorney supervisionMaintain positive key relationships through professional communication and responsive serviceTrack time, manage local projects, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environmentOccasionally travel to client sites to support attorneys with real estate and district mattersUnderstand and adhere to all Firm policies and proceduresVersatile: Responds effectively to shifting priorities and client needsCross‑Functional: Works seamlessly with attorneys, staff, clients, and external partnersArticulate: Delivers clear, professional written and verbal correspondenceEfficient: Prioritizes multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlinesResourceful: Proactively identifies, and takes ownership of, tasks without waiting for directionQualificationsDegree in Paralegal Studies, paralegal certification, or equivalent experience demonstrating paralegal‑level skills preferredAssociate's degree or equivalent from college or technical school3–5 years of experience as a real estate legal assistant or paralegal, ideally in TexasExpertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe Acrobat)Strong document‑editing skills: redlining, formatting, and editing in Word; modifying PDFsExcellent organization and time‑management skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesSelf‑directed, proactive, and detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving instincts requiring minimal oversightClear and professional communication and interpersonal skillsTexas Notary Public (or willingness to become one)What We OfferOur office is centrally located in The Grove at Shoal Creek — a vibrant mixed‑use area featuring restaurants, shops, and easy access to MoPac.
