Receives, unloads, and places incoming inventory items appropriately in the proper location.Reads product requirements, work orders, quality orders, drawings to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used. Performs PMI verification to ensure applicable received material meets requirements. Verifies dimensions of a wide variety of mechanical parts. Compares results with specifications and records test data. Communicates with vendors about issues with missing documents, nonconforming material, and vendor returns.
