Receiving Specialist / Material Handler – 1st Shift

Location: Hamilton, OH 45015
Pay: $24.00–$28.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM (Possible Friday overtime)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Receiving Specialist / Material Handler to support shipping, receiving, quality inspection, and inventory management. This position involves inspecting materials, maintaining inventory records in SAP, preparing shipments, and operating forklifts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required (verification required).

• 2+ years of shipping/receiving experience and/or 3–5 years of quality inspection experience.

• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems for inventory transactions.

• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.

• Experience using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and tape measures.

• Experience with UPS, FedEx, and shipping documentation.

• Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

• Strong math skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips.

• Perform quality inspections using precision measuring tools.

• Record inventory movements, returns, and quality issues in SAP.

• Identify, document, and separate defective materials.

• Pick, pack, label, and ship customer orders, including international shipments.

• Operate forklifts to move and organize materials.

• Assist with inventory counts and maintain a clean, safe work area.

• Support quality control, rework, and employee training as needed.
