Job Description

SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today, SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of making life multiplanetary and expanding consciousness to the stars.

SpaceXSI is building Super Intelligence to help humanity understand the universe. Our teams are building the full Super Intelligence stack: from our Colossus supercomputers, to Grok models, to our suite of applications, including Grok Bot, Grok Build, Grok Imagine, Grok Voice, and X. We're creating a powerful flywheel where more compute trains better models, better models power more useful products, and what we learn from people using those products shapes what we build next.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Receiving Specialist supporting SpaceXSI data center operations, you will be responsible for the accurate, timely receipt, inspection, and processing of high-value materials and equipment (servers, GPUs, networking gear, power systems, cooling infrastructure, and other critical components). • Operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment per safety procedures
  • Maintain good housekeeping in receiving and staging areas
  • Support material flow to construction and operations teams, including kitting and staging as needed

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 3+ years of experience in a supply chain, warehousing, or manufacturing environment

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with the control of nonconforming hardware and related processes
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with the Microsoft suite
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted; frequent lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying required
  • Must be available for one of the following 12.5-hour shifts: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
  • Work schedule follows a rotating pattern of 4 days on / 3 days off, then 3 days on / 4 days off (and repeating)
  • Must be open to working all required shift hours, including nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed to support 24/7 operations
  • Must be able to stand/walk for the majority of the shift
