Marine Travelift manufactures customized boat handling systems including boat hoists, marine forklifts, and hydraulic transporters. Marine Travelift has been manufacturing mobile boat hoists since 1954 and our equipment is utilized across the globe with over 5,000 units in service to help marinas handle boats of all sizes. Marine Travelift is the parent company to Shuttlelift, an expansive line of industrial cranes used in a variety of lifting applications and industries. These rubber-tired gantry cranes are used across the globe and offer lifting solutions up to 1,000 metric tons and larger.

What are we looking for?

As a Receptionist & Accounting Support professional, you’ll create a welcoming first impression while keeping essential accounting and administrative work moving. You’ll greet visitors, respond to inquiries, enter information accurately, and support accounts payable, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping tasks. Your impact: By pairing responsive customer service with accurate accounting support, you help visitors feel welcomed and give colleagues reliable financial information.

As a Receptionist & Accounting Support professional, you will….

• Welcome visitors with a warm smile and kind voice, answer and direct inquiries, and handle confidential information with care.
• Perform data entry, 10-key typing, and spreadsheet updates using Microsoft Excel.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting.
• Assist with journal entries, account and balance sheet reconciliation, debits and credits, and bookkeeping.
• Use accounting systems and financial software to support accounting clerk responsibilities and routine financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience, numeracy, math, and strong attention to detail.
• Accounting Clerk experience, including familiarity with accounting software, bookkeeping, and general accounting concepts.
• Understanding of corporate accounting, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) is helpful.
• Experience with Paylocity is a plus but not required.
