Sigma Inc. is seeking a Receptionist to join our team onsite in Boston, MA. This 6-month contract position is with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts – Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS). The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, administrative support, and telephone system experience.
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment. You will manage a multi-department phone system (Five9), perform document scanning and electronic filing, and provide day-to-day administrative support for office operations.
Operate the Five9 telephone system for routing multi-department calls.
Greet and assist customers at the department’s point of entry.
Route calls and provide excellent customer service.
Scan documents to PDF and maintain organized electronic filing systems.
Index and prepare boxes of files for scanning.
Open, sort, and distribute daily mail.
Support additional administrative projects as assigned.
Use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) for daily tasks.
Previous experience as a Receptionist, Office Clerk, or Administrative Assistant.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with multi-line or Five9 telephone systems preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain confidentiality.
