    Description

    This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while serving as the first point of contact for clients, applicants, employees, and visitors. The Receptionist will support daily office operations by answering phones, greeting guests, assisting with administrative tasks, and maintaining a professional and welcoming office environment.

    Job Duties include but not limited to:

    • Greet and welcome visitors, applicants, and clients in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate department or staff member.
    • Receive and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
    • Assist applicants with completing employment paperwork and direct them through the onboarding process.
    • Schedule appointments, interviews, and meetings as needed.
    • Perform general administrative duties including filing, scanning, copying, and data entry.
    • Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of employee and applicant information.
    • Monitor office supply inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
    • Provide support to recruiters and office staff with administrative projects and daily operations.
    • Communicate professionally with employees, clients, and vendors both in person and over the phone.
    • Follow company policies and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Previous receptionist, administrative, customer service, or office experience preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong customer service skills with a positive and professional attitude.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
    • Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
    • Ability to lift and carry office supplies or packages up to 20 pounds.
    • Ability to use standard office equipment, including computers, printers, copiers, and multi-line telephone systems.
    • Manual dexterity for typing, filing, and operating office equipment.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and through email.

    Work Schedule & Hours:

    • Full-time position, Monday through Friday.
    • Typical office hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
    • Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
