We are seeking a Receptionist for an initial 3-month contract in South Pasadena, CA. This position comes the likeliness of an extension or a direct offer.
Pay: $16.92/hour
Shift: 8:00am to 4:30pm PST
Position Description:This position will support Radiation Oncology front desk as well as support other departments as needed. - Manage multi-line phone calls- Greet patients- Collect co-pays- Check patients in and out - Update patient records via Epic EHR
- Schedule appointments- Scan records into EHR- Sort and manage faxes received daily- Verify insurance eligibility.
Qualifications:- Prior receptionist experience in a busy practice with EPIC training would be great!- Knowledge of Epic EHR is required.- Possessing the quality of being empathetic by nature is an absolute MUST for this position. Patience and communication skills are needed in this position.
